How can we seek what we don’t even know we’re looking for?
How can we find something when we don’t yet realise it’s missing?
How can we knock when we don’t even know which door to approach?
I’ve been thinking about these questions lately. About how much of faith is not about chasing God, but about noticing Him.
When God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM” (Exodus 3:14), He wasn’t describing distance. He was describing presence — the eternal being that is, that was, that always will be.
We are made in His image (Genesis 1:26–27). Perhaps what we are really seeking is already within us. It is the divine imprint that reminds us to love, to serve, and to live with compassion.
We often imagine faith as a hunt for hidden treasure — but maybe it’s more like breathing. God is not lost; we are. And when we find love, truth, or forgiveness — we find Him again.
What if the point of following Jesus wasn’t to become identical, but to become whole?
Each of us with different gifts, yet all part of one living body. (1 Corinthians 12:12–27)
If we each lived out our calling as Jesus did, what would our world look like? He taught, healed, forgave, and showed mercy.
Maybe Heaven isn’t as far as we think. Maybe the Kingdom of God Jesus spoke of is already here, waiting for us to live it.
Because where there is love, there is God.
And where there is no love, He still waits patiently. He is in the quiet, in the broken, in the unseen. He waits for us to return, to seek, and to remember that we were never alone.
Today’s blog is fairly short. I realised that the last time I shared a very long post. I was in the moment of discovery. And now I realise how much this blog is changing everyday.
